Out door event featuring massive staging, production, sand, pools, cabanas and bass. Steve Aoki - (Dim Mak) Steve Aoki, the DJ/Producer, grew up in Newport Beach, CA, and went to college at UCSB. In his early 20s, he founded his own label, Dim Mak Records, in 1996. The label has released music by other electro house artists such as Datsik, Infected Mushroom, Dada Life, Zeds Dead, his own collaboration with Tiësto, MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, Felix Cartal and Mustard Pimp, as well as by Bloc Party, Battles, The Kills, The Gossip, Klaxons, Scanners, Whitey, and Mystery Jets to name a few. The label has released over 250 records so far. Known for his energetic live shows, in 2012 Pollstar designated Aoki as the highest grossing dance artist did in North America from tours. He has collaborated with producers and vocalists such as, Afrojack, LMFAO, Iggy Azalea, Lil Jon, and Laidback Luke, and is known for his remixes too of artists such as Kid Cudi. Aoki has released several Billboard-charting studio albums as well, most notably Wonderland, which was nominated for Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2013. His two-part for album series Neon Future is out now. The first part was released on September 30, 2014. It's that time again! We will be marching for the forth time for food sovereignty, for GMO labeling and to end the cronyism caused by our agriculture industry. We will be meeting at Beauty Bar Las Vegas at 10:00am, with a rally to start at 10:30am. At 11 we will march from Fremont East down Fremont Street Experience, up to the Federal Court House Building, then back down to Beauty Bar where we are working on having a semi farmer's market for us all to buy organic farm fresh veggies after the march. Just imagine our sea of red marching through the Fremont Street Experience, then invite your friends to join. More details to come soon!
